The Beacon Street Union
Boston Tea Party regulars The Beacon Street Union was another band to fall by the wayside after the collapse of the short-lived publicity debacle known as the Bosstown Sound. But John Lincoln Wright (who later went on to a successful local country music career), Paul Tartachny, Wayne Ulaky, Bob Rhodes and Richard Weisburg certainly made a couple of interesting, eclectic albums, with material from all over the musical spectrum: the loud and psychedelic "My Love Is" and the crooned cover of "Sportin' Life" on The Eyes of the Beacon Street Union, and the moody "May I Light Your Cigarette" and lo-o-ong cover of "Baby Please Don't Go" on The Clown Died in Marvin Gardens.
